§ 01

The short version

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share what we learn about visitors. We store sign-in details when you log in, and our analytics stores a random ID to count visits.

§ 02

Needed to sign in

When you sign in to your dashboard, we store two values in your browser’s local storage:

• An access token, which expires after 15 minutes.
• A refresh token, which gets a new access token without asking you to log in again. It expires after 30 days, or when you sign out.

§ 03

Counting visits

Our analytics provider, Thravic, stores two values on every visit to our public pages:

• _tf_vid: a random visitor ID that stays in your browser’s local storage until you clear it, so a return visit is not counted as a new visitor.
• _tf_sid: a random session ID, kept only until you close the tab.

§ 04

Your choice

The sign-in values are strictly necessary: without them you could not stay logged in, so they do not need your consent.

DECISION ON ANALYTICS — pick one and replace this paragraph: (a) “Visit counting only starts if you agree to it in the banner, and you can change your mind at any time.” (b) Switch Thravic to a mode that stores nothing, and delete the “Counting visits” section. (c) Remove Thravic, and delete the “Counting visits” section.

§ 05

Removing them

Signing out removes the sign-in values. Clearing your browser’s site data for this website removes everything listed here.

If you clear them while signed in, you will be signed out. Nothing else is affected.
